Is this real life?

Sometimes it goes by so fast, even if you haven't made a recent visit to the dentist (see the video post below), you wonder if this is real life.

So, time to catch up on some life events and pictures.

I am terrible about remembering to take a camera anywhere, so I have no pictures of our horse rides, our hike to the big waterfalls in the canyon below my parents' house, or my bday. I also haven't seen my bro's new twins, but congratulations Aaron and Brandy!

He found the garden slugs fascinating.

The little guy I babysit dragged this scooter handle around all day, following the boys as they made bike ramps. He thought he was part of the action.

The kids have fun dressing him up--gamer/gangster?

Pregnant cat and her lazy bro.

Four kittens.

2009 Endurocross, my 10 yo got 3rd place in the 65 class

My baby is six!!

Leland keeping up with the big kids again.

Our kids and the neighbors played in the mud.

The boys are determined to turn this old mower into a go-cart

Latest radio interview

Monday was another interview, this time FM96 in London, Ontario. The Tucker and Taz show. It was . . . interesting. We always discuss the importance of bringing adventure into your life (because of our adventure characters), and the DJs asked if "sleeping with a prostitute" would qualify as an adventure. That kind of threw us a little.

What's been going on around here:

My 8yo was old enough to be baptized. This is him in the baptismal clothes before the baptism.

Last Monday my daughter was going down the hill with a couple of neighbor kids, the neighbor boy was driving, and this is what happened when he got distracted as my daughter passed something to her friend in the front seat. Luckily, none of them were hurt. Makes you feel very grateful when God protects your babies (they are still babies even when they are teens).

My sister-in-law and I had our first radio interview for our new book. On Radio NL in Kamloops, BC. Interesting experience.
